How does Cappa AI work?
Import a video, choose the language, let the app generate timed captions, then edit the style and export.
Does Cappa AI need an account?
No. You can use the core flow without creating an account.
Why does the app ask for Photos access?
Photos access is used to import videos and, if you want, save exported videos back to your library.
Does the app upload my video?
No full video upload is required for caption generation. The app sends extracted audio from your selected video to our backend and transcription providers so captions can be created. Editing preview and most styling happen on-device.
Why is caption generation taking longer on some clips?
Longer videos, heavy background audio, mixed-language speech, or temporary provider slowdowns can all increase processing time.
What if preview and export do not match?
That usually points to a rendering bug, not expected behavior. Send us the clip style and a screen recording through Support.
How do Pro and exports work?
Pro unlocks paid export access and subscription features. If you have purchase trouble, use Restore Purchases in the app or contact support@cappaai.in.
