Terms of Service
These terms explain how you can use Cappa AI, how subscriptions work, and what responsibilities apply when you create captioned videos.

Acceptance of terms
By using Cappa AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally allowed to use the app under applicable law. Cappa AI currently does not require an account for core use, but subscription and purchase access may still depend on Apple and RevenueCat records.
Your content
You may use only content you own or have permission to use. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant us the limited rights needed to process extracted audio, create captions, verify purchases, and deliver the features you request.
Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Pricing, billing, free trials, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under the subscription terms shown at purchase time.
Restore Purchases is available in the app if you need to recover access tied to the Apple ID that purchased Pro. Complimentary exports or promotional access, if offered, have no cash value and may change over time.
Permitted use
You may use Cappa AI for lawful personal or commercial content creation, provided your use does not violate these terms, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable law.
Acceptable use
Please do not use the service to upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content, reverse engineer the service, interfere with platform security, abuse rate limits, or try to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, or suspend parts of the service from time to time, including for maintenance, safety, or legal reasons.
Disclaimers
Cappa AI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect caption accuracy, or that every export or transcription result will be error-free.
Apple terms
If you download Cappa AI from the App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and policies.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Cappa AI and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or content arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use violates these terms, creates risk for the service or other users, or is required by law.
